Let Your Conscious Be Your Guide

Are you religious?

Do you believe in God?

Do you believe there is a heaven or hell and what if there is?

For the sake of argument, if there is a heaven or hell, where do you think you will go?

There are answers to these questions lying inside of all of us; we just have to search for them.

We are faced with so many questions and religious choices today; it’s a wonder that anyone believes in anything anymore. For it is hard to decide what to believe in, but we do have an assurance for in the book of St John 14:16-17 of the Holy Bible tells us “And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him; but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you for ever.

The comforter in this passage is our own counselor which lives inside of us. This counselor is simply the Holy Spirit, which is simply put, our conscious. So as we explore these questions seeking the answers “Let Your Conscious be Your Guide.

Whether we acknowledge, accept or obey it the Holy Spirit (our conscious) lives within us all. We all have the ability to discern right from wrong, that is our conscious (the Holy Spirit). The Holy Spirit conveys God’s principles in our hearts and plants them like seeds to grow in the soil of our understanding.

Webster describes religious as pertaining to a religion, devout, conscientious; diligent. The term religious is a derivative of religion. Simply put being religious is practicing of religion.

In today’s ever changing societies we tend to call religion by different denominations and practices. We have the Baptist, Catholic, Episcopal, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Methodist and few others.

This does however have some truth to it, but the fact of the matter is religion is simply practicing faith and all of the above mentioned are factions of faith. Faith is the key to religion. Do you have faith and in what or whom? Religion is a system of faith and worship of a divine nature, devoutness; dedication to a holy life, a doctrine or custom accepted on faith. “Faith” Are you a religious person?

Most people today believe that there is a God or some divine entity. If we search within ourselves we will find the answer to the question. Is there really a God? But the ultimate is, do you believe and have faith in God.

We would not have a conscious (the Holy Spirit) if there was not a God, The One and Only God. God will reveal Himself to anyone who wants to know Him. Do you believe there is a God?

We all have places on earth to live, we ourselves live within ourselves. Some say that earth is our heaven and yet some say that it is our hell. Earth is our humanly home, but where do you think God and His angels live? Heaven is said to be a place where every day will be a day of rest and joy, a place where the streets are paved with gold, a place where sickness and poverty will cease, a place where there will be no more crying or dying.

Hell on the other hand is said to be of eternal (ever lasting) fire, burning, rotting flesh that never burns up, a fire that never quenches, a place of eternal damnation, a place of never ending torture. Do you believe there is a heaven or hell?

If there are such places then Heaven is a place I choose to be. If there is a heaven I want to go there, where every day would be Sunday and nothing to do but walk around heaven all day. Heaven a place where there’s only happy people and happy times. What if there is a heaven and if so don’t you want to go there?

Some people would have you believe that when you’re dead you’re done, but the truth is that there is life after life as we know it. So just for the sake of argument, if there is a heaven or hell where do you want to Go?

Will you go to a place of eternal bliss, eternal companionship, never ending love, joy and peace or to a place where the stench of burning, rotted flesh, screaming and whaling, never ending torture and eternal damnation.

Ask yourself these questions and let your conscious (The Holy Spirit) be your guide.

Let your conscious guide you to a place where happiness never ends.

Let your conscious guide you to The One and Only Living God.

Let your conscious guide you to faith in God.

Let your conscious be your guide to a life of howdy, howdy and never goodbye.

Just listen to your conscious which lives inside you.
