 TRUE LOVE
We use this word a lot, but do we really mean it when we say I love you or I
love that. I’m guilty of this myself , when I tell someone that I love them I do
mean it , but I use it a lot saying oh, I love that book or I love that dress,
what I need to say is I like that book or I like that dress. A lot of us don’t
know what love is. Let me tell you what God showed me this morning what True
Love is.
Jesus is True Love, there is no one that has ever loved anyone like Jesus
loves us, you know why, because he sacrificed his self for us, that’s right for
you and for me. He gave everything. Now let me ask you something, could you
sacrifice your child, spouse, or yourself for someone else, I mean say me, you
don’t know me but could you go out and get on that cross and hang there by three
nails and die for me, that’s what Jesus did for you and me, he didn’t know you
or me. We were not born but he still died for us, now that is True Love.
We need to ask our self these questions.
- Is Jesus
my True Love?
- What do I
need to do to make him my True Love?
- Do I share
the Love of Jesus?
- Do I
sacrifice for Jesus? I’m not talking about dieing on the cross, I’m talking
about spending time with Jesus in prayer, sharing Jesus with everyone that
will listen or cooking a meal for that person that is sick and house bound,
calling to check on someone that has know one, tell them that you are
praying for them and do it.
The Bible says it like this.

said, love is in the Bible 180 times look them up for your self and read each
one you will have a better understanding about love.
