Welcome to Faith in Christ Ministries of the World Men's Ministry...

I am A. T. Sparks, Associate Pastor and the Men's Ministry leader of Faith In Christ Ministries Of The World. I would like to tell you what my vision and goal is for Faith in Christ Ministries of the World.

Back in the 70's, early 80's, the Lord gave me this vision: There was this light. But within this light, I saw a multitude of people. So I guess it could have been a glow, a nationwide glow, seeing a multitude of people, all nationalities, all races, and all colors. And as I saw these souls, all these people, the thought came to me, Jesus said He was walking in the world, but He went away, that He could send the Comforter. That He could dwell within us, in order that Jesus Christ could come and live within man, and that we can multiply and reach the world though Christ within us.

My main goal is to see souls saved; the “down-n-outers” come to Christ and find Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. They are looking for someone that is real. And that is my desire, to be ready so I can help them. Be helpful, not a stumbling block. That's the Word and message I want to get out to the city of Willis, the county, the state, the nation, and to the world, that we can overcome.

I want to let the men know that there is a better way than walking up and down the streets trying to sell drugs or taking drugs. To just let them know that there is hope, that there is a life, a full life other than the way in which they are going right now.

I have another desire - to see young men take their skills that they know, the same skills they are out there using to sell drugs and do other things which are against the law, and take those skills and use it to work within the law. God can open so many doors for those who just believe in Him and ask Him.

Become An Over-Comer!

There is Hope!
 

My desire and hope is to be able to lead others to Christ, to be able to bring encouragement through the Word, and to let my light so shine that they, too, will want to be an over-comer!.

Paul says, we are all open letters. We are also an open books. And it is up to us what people read in that book. It's up to us what they are reading in our book. We are epistles. The Word says we are read of all men. So they are reading it and what they are reading is us. If we are living it, walking holy, being holy, that's what they are going to read. If we are “wishy-washies”, doing the same things they are doing, but sneaking and hiding our hands and all this, they are reading it. [Holy on Sunday and Worldly the rest of the week?] People are looking for something real [God] and someone that is real [True Christians].

That is my desire, to be real, to be ready so that I can help others. I want to be helpful, not a stumbling block. The Word and message I want to get out to the city of Willis, the county, the state, the nation, and to all the people of the world, that we can overcome.

We can come to Jesus Christ, ask for forgiveness, receive Him as our personal Savior, and become over-comers!

Until I found Christ, I didn't know I could be an over-comer. I was lost, I was like a dead man walking around consuming air, and consuming space. But when I found Christ, then I became alive! I was filled with hope!

If you think of yourself as a “down-n-outers”, that all seems hopeless, I want you that there is a better way than walking up and down the streets trying to sell drugs and taking drugs. There is a life, a full life, other than the way in which you are living right now. I want you to understand that you are made in the image of Jesus Christ, and you can be an over-comer! There is hope for you!
