Loved Ones

When one of our loved ones has completed their earthly journey

And have gone on to their new Heavenly home

It makes us so sad and lonely, wishing

They had not left us alone.

We long to see their face once more

And put our arms around them, but we

Realize we must go on, and strive to

Meet them on that far away shore.

The earth is just our dressing room, to

Prepare us for the day when it is our

Turn to go to meet our loved ones, when

Our earthly journey is done.
