  The Great thing being part of the Kairos Prison Ministry is the LORD always amazes me on what he does during this 4 day event. Helping my spirit to grow and always humbling me is just a few things he does for me. I thank you Lord for using me, I give you all the Praise and Glory. Thank you for my Church thank you for Kairos.

  The 11^th Kairos at Eastham got underway Thursday the 9^th at around 8am.

  This particular group consisted of mainly gang members, One Buddhist Monk and 2 Muslims. This was the largest Gang member Participants ever placed together at a Kairos at one time. I will share a couple of events but much happened through this week end along with many miracles we witnessed, there were many stone hard hearts.

  I still remember our introductions on Thursday. A notorious gang leader and highly respected inmate (Doom) introduced himself as such and told about his entire family being in and out of Prison his whole life and that his Brother was just executed. Another that ended up at my Family Table (St. Matthew) had both arms and chest tattooed with satin and in Japanese Soul Lost, he was very intimating and hardest of all there, He announced up front he wasn’t going to lie and he did not believe in God he came for food. On Friday Afternoon (Doom) broke down over reading a Place mat that was made by a 5 year old girl named Emily from a Team members Sunday school class she drew a Heart and the words, I love you and I am praying for you in prison, then with the scripture of John 3:16 , He replied I have herd people talk about John 3:16 but never read it, He was never the same, and later that day confessed Jesus Christ, he met with Clergy to take the necessary steps. He publicly confessed and it was something to see how it changed his whole demeanor , as the weekend progressed I was amazed as I always am,  at how many hardened hearts became soft, some for the very first time in there life’s. Watching them change was astonishing. Moving onto the 2^nd man (KC) that sat at our table , He respected us but would not participate in any singing , praise or readings he continually all week confessed out loud I respect your belief  because you came here and didn’t have to, but there is no God,  If there is a God he can send me a sign. He had been in prison since the age of 13, hated his father and had no one in his life except his mother, as the week continued our little family became bonded together as a family unit and left no out as we are family. On Sunday Morning he approached me and said I have a gift for you if you will accept it. Later he pulled a picture of himself and said God had been sending him messages all weekend but I didn’t see them, but last night he sent me a sign, I believe something is happening here I don’t know what it is but I believe there is a God, You have made a big impact on my life I would like you to accept this, I acceptable his gift and said Jesus Loves you and it is HE that is impacting your life, as it was HIM that sent me to you. As the day went on one by one I seen the Holy Spirit move all about this room and into the closing, and watched the hardest of hearts fall to Christ Love. The Closing as always yielded many tears and many confessions that were supported by Christians in White along with Christians of the free world to bear witness and testimony. Thank you for your support to make this happen, This Church Is making a difference.
