Just what kind of a report is going around among the Lord’s people?
By: Ann
….…it is not a good report I hear spreading among the Lord’s people. If a man sins against another man, God may mediate for him, but if a man sins against the Lord, who will intercede for him? I Sam 2:24

Just what kind of a report is going around among the Lord’s people? Is there sin in the camp? Is it being addressed by Godly leadership? If not, then there will arise spreading distrust of that leadership, in the church, city and the wider sphere if influence that leadership impacts…for as long as pastors proclaim the gospel of prosperity in Christ but fail to address unholy behavior, gossip issues, or more generally, just talk about how there should be unity among Christians!

There can be no unity, however, when sin and hypocrisy masquerade within the church, when discernment is non-operational, or when all the gifts God ordained to function in His body are not being used for His glory. Are the intercessors being encouraged to pray for the shepherds of the flock? Are the intercessors and the shepherds waiting for the mind of Christ as they seek the Father’s heart? Are both remembering to keep the main thing the main thing in the local body? Many 21st Century Christians have lost hope in the local church: they see no one addressing the basics – like holiness unto the Lord. There are large numbers of Christians who know and love God and crave fellowship with Him and others of like mind; they are seeking the true body of Christ, the common ground to unite and worship God. God has always had his remnant, the Holy Nation of Peculiar People who choose to believe the report of the Lord. Too, God has established His faithful shepherds, those in whom he has put a heart for the little lambs of the flock and for the sheep of His pasture. And with all their strength, they labor among us to diligently do what the Apostle Paul counseled Timothy (II Tim 1: 14): ‘Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you – guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in you.’

….He says, “I am the Lord and there is no other. I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob’s descendents ‘Seek me in vain.’ I, the Lord, speak the truth; I declare what is right. Ps 45: 18-19
