Just suppose that Jesus had refused to die for me
And said, “Father she’s not worthy.” Where do you suppose I’d be?
Just suppose He had called ten thousand angels to come down to His side.
Then there would be no mansion in heaven for me to abide.
Just suppose He had refused to drink His bitter cup.
Had refused to pray for me, wouldn’t go to the cross to be delivered up.
He paid the price for you and me when the veil was rent in twain.
Now we can go to heaven where there is always sunshine and there will be no more
pain.
