In order to live that lifestyle you made a quality decision to not obey God and
walk in His ways. You are made in the image of God and are called into obedience
by the One who created us. Not to do so, is to walk in direct disobedience of
what God has called you to be, male or female. The world is a way of
rebelliousness. It is a reflection of the attitude that says, “I can do whatever
I want, whenever I want, like I want, and answer to no one.” The Webster
Dictionary describes “gay” as “given to social pleasures, gay life,
lasciviousness”. “Lascivious” means “Disregarding and accepting rules and
standards, moral restraints”. Lasciviousness is characterized by, or is an
expression of the lust, lewdness, wontedness, which extends to excite lust.
Lewdness Webster describes as, “lay, unlearn, indecent, lustful, unchaste.”
which means that a person practices that which is unlearned, unnatural, indecent
and lustful thus meaning one is uncontrolled by the flesh. The flesh is out of
control! Anything we set our minds to do we can do it, but that doesn’t
necessarily mean it is right.
Jude 1:17-19
“But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of
our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the
last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who
separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.”
These verses talk about the mockers in the last day that will walk after their
own ungodly lusts. It causes division not having the Spirit. It separates them
from the Creator.
Ephesians 4:17-24
“This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as
other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding
darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in
them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given
themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
But ye have not so learned Christ; if so be that ye have heard him, and have
been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the
former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful
lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new
man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”
When deciding to be gay the decision, it is a decision that allows one to be
alienated from the life of God. This ignorance in them creates blindness of
their heart. After the blindness comes in, they lose the feeling what is right
or wrong. They have crossed over that line and now enter areas in which feelings
are now deceitful. This cancels out clear thinking. Because one does not learn
the ways of Christ, one feels good about it, thus no conscious. The truth is in
Jesus. With this behavior forgiveness must be sought so that one can once again
learn the ways of Christ and His standards of holiness.
Ephesians 1:7-8
“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all
wisdom and prudence;”
