Details about Debbie:
Hello. My name is Debbie. I want to tell you that God is good all of the
time, and His mercy endures forever. Nothing is impossible with Him. It is
written that He shall supply all of my needs and He always does. He is my
healer. He is my deliverer. He is the God that sets me free, and whom the Son
sets free is free indeed.
About four and one-half years ago, I was believing God for a miracle concerning
a friend of mine. Without a miracle, she was going to die. Prayer was going up
around the clock for her, and I was praying for one hour a day myself. After
about a month, I began to realize that I really did not know how to pray. After
a lot of begging and pleading with God to heal her, I felt like my prayers were
not leaving my ear shot. I became desperate because I felt like I was letting
her down. My best was just not good enough. In my heart I knew it, but I did not
know how to do it differently.
One day God impressed upon my heart to get my Bible out and look up every story
and scripture I could find concerning healing and read it. The more I read, the
more excited I became. I began writing down every scripture that spoke to my
heart. The Bible says that God is no respecter of persons. What He has done for
one, He will do for another. It says that no weapon formed against us shall
prosper. From then on, when I went to pray for my one hour a day, I took the
scriptures with me and I began to war with them. I took every opportunity that I
could to put her name into the scriptures. It was awesome. No longer did I have
a problem with praying for my hour. It was easy. The Bible says there is life
and death in the power of the tongue, and that faith comes by hearing and
hearing by the word of God. I knew my prayers were reaching heaven because when
I was praying the word, I was praying the will of the Father.
I began to realize the power of His words upon my lips. It is written that if we
have but the faith of a mustard seed, we can speak to the mountains in our lives
and command them to move and they will. God did restore my friend back to
health, but the impact the word of God made upon my heart has changed me
forever. She may have gotten a new liver, but I got a new heart. A heart that
beats in tune with my Father. I began to realize that God is who He says He is.
He has what He says He has, and He can do what He says He can do. Not one word
from the Bible is null or void of power, and He goes to and fro seeking to
perform it.
I began to realize that healing is our inherited right. It is not something we
have to beg for or hope for. I found out that we have been tricked into
accepting sickness and disease as a part of being human. It is a lie from the
pit of hell. We have been robbed by the enemy. For it is written that the enemy
comes not but to kill, steal and destroy. Jesus came that we might have life and
life more abundantly. It is never God's will for someone to be sick. He sent His
Son, Jesus to take stripes on His back so we can be healed, delivered and set
free from the hand of the enemy. Jesus paid the price so we could be free. It is
written that if we lay hands on the sick they shall recover. He has given us
authority over all kinds of sickness and disease, and we can cast out unclean
spirits. We have had the authority all of this time and did not realize it. God
will not do for us what He has given us the authority to do for ourselves. The
enemy has been using us as his dumping ground for sickness and disease, and it
is up to us to rise up and put a stop to it. The Bible says to resist the devil
and he will flee. It is written that no weapon formed against us shall prosper.
Greater is He who is in us than he who is in this world. Amen.
Several months after my friend was healed and delivered from death, I started
having problems with my gallbladder. When it would start acting up, I would take
my sister's advice and get in a tub of hot water and take Alka-Seltzer. It would
take a while, but it would pass. The events started occurring more and more
frequent. It was getting worse and worse. One day, I remembered how God had
delivered my friend with the word of God, so I got out my scriptures. I went to
the bathroom on the far side of the house because I did not want to wake my
family while I prayed. I sat on the floor and started praying the word of God. I
knew that God was able to deliver me from the hand of the enemy, and I was
determined to see this through His way. I had gone through about half of my
scriptures when I realized the pain was all gone. Praise God. God had delivered
me from my enemies, and my faith was growing with leaps and bounds.
The attacks came more and more frequent, and when it did, I would grab my
scriptures and began to war. Every time it would take less and less time for the
enemy to leave me alone. I began to realize this was a spiritual battle and not
a physical one. It got to the point that when I would feel it coming on, I would
go pick up my scriptures and as soon as my fingers would touch the pages, it
would instantly leave. The Bible says the weapons of our warfare are not carnal,
but mighty to the pulling down of strongholds. I was using the sword of the
spirit, which is the word of God, and it was knocking the enemy on his back side
every time I used it. I love it when God shows off.
One day the attack came and it would not lift no matter what I did. I was rushed
to the emergency room and put in the hospital for one week. I had a severe
infection in my liver, gallbladder, pancreas and stomach. The gallbladder had to
go. I had the most glorious time with the Lord in that hospital. I had praise
and worship music playing all of the time. God inhabits the praises of His
people. I would listen to healing tapes. I was soaking in the anointing of God
that breaks every yoke. It was wonderful. God was with me every step of the way.
He will never leave me nor forsake me.
I had a problem with the needles. They were forever poking me, and the pain was
severe. The Bible says that Jesus bore my sorrows. He bore all of my pain. If He
bore it for me then I do not have to bare it again. I started praying and asking
Him to take the pain away. It was awesome because He did. When they would come
in with needles to take blood or move my IV because my veins kept blowing, it
was like a little mosquito bite. No problem. What I did not realize, is that
Jesus did not only take the pain of the needles away, but He also took the pain
of surgery away. I had no pain, no gas and no nausea. While in the hospital, I
did not take one pain reliever. I did not need them. I was sent home with
prescriptions, but I did not have them filled. God is my source. He is the Great
Physician. He is good all of the time, and He does supply all of my needs.
You might wonder why I had to go through that. Why did God not deliver me when I
prayed? My Father did not cause the sickness, but He used it for my good. He
took what the enemy meant for bad and turned it around and made good come out of
it. There cannot be a testimony without a test. It gave me a boldness to stand
up against the enemy and demand my rights. I found out that even when I am in
the valley, He will deliver me. No matter what is going on in my life, I can
hold my peace and He fights my battles for me. I am a child of the King. I am
the righteousness of God in Christ, and I can do all things through Christ who
strengthens me. I am more than a conqueror because Jesus lives inside of me.
God is my source. He is my provider. He is my champion warrior. It is Jesus that
causes me to triumph over my enemies. It is His anointing that breaks every
yoke. It is His healing anointing that flows through me. The same spirit that
raised Jesus from the dead lives on the inside of me, and it will quicken my
mortal body. God is no respecter of persons. What He has done for me, He will do
for you. If you need a miracle today, You need Jesus. The Bible says, whatsoever
ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. He says, I am the God that
heals you. I will take sickness out of the midst of you.
He knows the plans He has for you. They are plans to prosper you and not to harm
you. Plans to give you hope and a future. Call upon Him and He will show you
great and mighty things that you know not. Trust in the LORD with all your
heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge
Him, and He shall direct your paths. He is my healer. He is my deliverer. He is
the God that sets me free, and whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Amen.
