Can a Christian be a homosexual?

Answer:
According to the word of God, homosexuality is a fleshly act which is sin. Galatians 5:19-21 speaks of works of the flesh. Those who manifest these behaviors are not going to inherit the kingdom of God according to His word. Homosexuality is listed among these works.

Ga 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Ga 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Ga 5:21 Envying, murders, drunkenness, reveling, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Romans 1:24-29 explains that God has turned those who manifest this type of behavior over to themselves, and they dishonor their own bodies, worshipping the created (themselves) instead of the Creator (God). This rebellious act of homosexuality leads the participants to a reprobate mind; a mind filled with darkness (man's own ways and understanding), not God's (light of Truth).

Ro 1:24-29
Ro 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Ro 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. Ro 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: Ro 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another *; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
Ro 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient ;Ro 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

So why do homosexuals not feel that it is wrong?

Having left the light of Truth and now being in darkness alienates the homosexual from God and places them in spiritual blindness and bondage. They no longer see the Truth or feel guilt for the sin committed. Therefore, many times they do not see this behavior as being against the word of God and being sin which is wrong. Their conscience has been seared by the lie of sin.

Eph 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
Eph 4:19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Sin separates us from God. If we take time out to repent of our sins God has promised us everlasting life. We know that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God (salvation through Jesus Christ) leads us to eternal life.

Ro 6:22-23
Ro 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Ro 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So, the original question of: Can a Christian be a homosexual? The answer is: after acknowledgement of the sin of homosexuality and repentance there is always a "yes". The relationship between the sinner and Jesus is reestablished. But, only after repentance!
